Pawsitive Connections: Life Skills is a five-week group class designed to help you and your dog build the practical skills you need to confidently navigate everyday life together. Rather than focusing solely on traditional obedience, this class is about strengthening communication, building connection and teaching skills that make day-to-day life with your dog easier and more enjoyable.

Throughout the five weeks, you’ll work on engagement and communication, loose leash walking, navigating distractions, everyday manners, impulse control and cooperative care. You’ll also learn practical ways to prepare your dog for veterinary visits, grooming, body handling, nail care, medications, ear drops, eye drops and other routine care.

Each week builds on the last, giving you the opportunity to practise your skills in both indoor and outdoor environments and learn how to apply your training when real life doesn’t go perfectly to plan.
