Our Board & Train program is the most immersive training option we offer, designed for families who want to see faster, more consistent progress while ensuring their dog receives professional, structured care around the clock.

This program is ideal for busy families who may not have the time to train daily but want expert support to jump-start their dog’s training journey. It creates a strong foundation for long-term success and sets your dog, and your family, up for a smoother, happier life together.

Board & Train options range from 14 days to multiple months, depending on your dog’s needs and training goals. During their stay, your dog will receive:

  • Before your dog’s stay, we work with you to identify your goals whether it’s leash walking, recall, polite greetings, crate training, calmness, or addressing specific problem behaviours such as barking, jumping, or leash reactivity. Every plan is unique to your dog.

  • While staying with us, your dog participates in multiple structured training sessions each day with a professional trainer. These sessions are short, engaging, and always tailored to your dog’s learning style and needs.

  • Training is paired with scheduled rest times, enrichment activities (such as puzzle feeders, scent work, and play), and calm structured routines. This ensures learning is not only effective but sustainable long-term.

  • Training doesn’t just happen in a quiet room. Dogs are exposed to real-life environments and distractions, from walking calmly in neighbourhoods to practicing manners around people, other dogs, and new experiences.

  • Families receive three detailed progress updates per week, including photos and videos of training sessions. At the end of the program, you’ll receive a comprehensive written report with step-by-step recommendations, practical tips, and next steps to continue success at home.

  • At pick-up, we provide a dedicated transfer session to walk you through everything your dog has learned. This ensures you feel confident in continuing the training at home and reinforces consistency between our team and your family.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Drop-off and pick-up occur within our regular hours. Pick-up includes a handover session with the trainer.

  • Yes, boarding and training are included in the cost.

  • We use positive reinforcement-based training, ensuring a supportive and structured learning experience for your dog.

  • Training happens in our home, our purpose-built training areas, on trails, and in real-world settings depending on your dog’s goals.

  • Yes! You’ll receive photos and a short written report on your dog’s progress, during their stay.

  • Yes, at the end of the program, you’ll receive a tailored training plan to continue reinforcing good behaviors at home.

  • We provide treats, but if your dog has allergies, please bring your own.

  • Ideally, yes. However, if crate training is a goal, we can work on it during their stay.

  • No dog is perfect! We build a strong foundation, but continued practice at home is necessary to maintain progress.

  • It depends! Some behaviors take longer to modify, and we’ll discuss the ideal training duration based on your dog’s learning pace.

  • Yes! We cover basic manners plus up to three additional training goals tailored to your dog’s needs.

  • Your dog must have had their third set of vaccinations to join.
